By train

Lodz is an important railway transport centre. It has frequent connections with the capital city of Poland, Warsaw, and with other cities.

Construction of the new Lodz Fabryczna railway station - one of the largest investments in Europe - has been commenced. In 2015, the new station shall become the most important transport junction in central Poland. The investment requires the Lodz Fabryczna station to be closed. Railway services were taken over by the following stations:

  • Łódź Kaliska PKP Railway Station (55 Karolewska St.)
  • Łódź Chojny PKP Railway Station (3b Śląska St.)
  • Łódź Widzew PKP Railway Station (8 Służbowa St.)

Passengers are serviced by PKP Intercity and Przewozy Regionalne.
