Interregional cooperation, structural funds, and transnational transport networks are the key issues to be addressed by the CoR's Commission for Territorial Cohesion Policy (COTER) in Brussels. The meeting will be attended by Mayor Jerzy Kropiwnicki.
The members of the Commission will express their opinions on the European Commission's report concerning progress in the area of economic and social cohesion and formulate opinions concerning the future of the cohesion policy. The relevant report on the future challenges in this area will be presented by the Commission Chairman Michael Schneider. The discussion will be attended by a representative of the European Commission's Directorate General for Regional Policy - Natalija Kazlauskiene.
The participants in the meeting will also provide their opinions in respect of the European Parliament adopting the resolution concerning the action plan to increase mobility in cities. (pz)
